All of our counselors have received a Master’s degree or higher in the field of counseling in addition to being licensed or license eligible in the State of Georgia.  We are passionate about seeing marriages flourish, individuals succeed, and children thrive emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.

Gina Roes, M.A., LPC

Gina Roes, M.A., LPC - holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She received her Bachelors Degree in Bible and Religion from King College in Bristol, TN. Originally from Charlotte, NC, Gina came to Savannah from New York where she worked for 3 years after the events of September 11, 2001. She has worked with trauma, women's issues, adolescents, marriage, groups, and children. Gina is often asked to speak to various groups including women's retreats and National Conferences for the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Ruben Joyner, M. Ed

Ruben Joyner, M. Ed - has earned several degrees which include an Associates Degree in Sociology from Middle GA college, a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Savannah State University and a Masters from Georgia Southern in Counseling Education and currently pursuing his Ed.S. He is married to the lovely Quinnesian Joyner and a proud father to Miss. Kirsten Joyner. Ruben loves helping people to look for the light at the end of the tunnel.

Drew Casper, M.S.

Drew Casper, M.S.- was born and raised in Savannah, GA. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. Drew received his Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Georgia Southern University in 2006. Drew has experience working with teenagers, college students, adults, and groups with a wide variety of issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and personality disorders.

Danielle Barnes, M.A., LAPC

Danielle Barnes, M.A.- a native of Savannah holds a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from South University. She has earned several degrees which include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Armstrong Atlantic State University. Danielle has worked with women with substance abuse issues and youth enrichment programs. Danielle has always had a passion for at-risk youth as well as individuals in need. Her future goal is to open a counseling center for the rehabilitation of at-risk youth in Savannah and surrounding counties.
