What to Expect



When You Call

When you call LifeCHANGE Christian Counseling Center your call will be answered by our intake co-ordinator, Melea Stevenson. She will walk you through the process of setting up your first appointment and answer any questions you may have about the process.

When You Come for Your First Appointment

Each session is usually scheduled for 50 minutes. If you are bringing your child in for counseling, usually the first session involves only the parents or legal guardians. The goal of the first session is to gather the important information and formulate a plan for treatment. We offer services in the areas of both professional counseling and spiritual direction, depending on your needs.

When You Pay

Our fees are based on a sliding scale according to the family’s gross annual household income. We ask that you bring a copy of a pay stub or tax return to determine your fee.

When You Fill Out Paperwork

You may download the forms from this site and fill them out before coming to your first session. If you prefer, you may also come to your first session 10 minutes early to fill out the papers in our office. Please fill out the forms completely.
